MASK - THE OPPOSITE OF HIDING it is a site-specific project presented in Bozar (Brussels) in May 2016. And it is the result of the collaboration between the performer Arno Ferrera (CH,IT) and the photographer Massimiliano Rossetto (CH).
"To wear a mask it is not that easy. Especially when you realize that in order to do it properly, you should free a part of yourself. "
It is an exhibition connected with a performative space where audience is welcome to choose a mask to wear in order to understand - or not - what happens when we suddenly become someone else. Every person is welcome to enter a square drawn on the floor.
After a little moment of possible loss, it is the mask taking over you.
Nowadays we are bombarded by images of masks (shop dummies, advertisements, social networks, ...) but often how the mask is used it is meaningless.
